Matt Mitchell is a Los Angeles based Actor/Writer.
Originally from Charlotte, North Carolina, Matt is currently earning his Bachelor of Fine Arts in Acting from the University of Southern California.
Matt began acting at a young age and is experienced in both stage and on screen performance. His film credits include Young Russell DeWitt in Bixler High Private Eye (Nickelodeon), Jack in The Ultimate Life (20th Century Fox), Luke in Swimlapse (RiverRun Film Festival), and Brian in Locker 212 (Cucalorus Film Festival). His theatre credits include Berowne in Love's Labour's Lost (USC), Harry Easter in Street Scene (USC), Will Rogers in The Will Rogers Follies (Stagedoor Manor), and John Proctor in The Crucible (Northwest School of the Arts).
Matt's writing credits include his short film Public Life which most recently screened at LA Live as part of the Hollywood Reel Independent Film Festival. Matt has two plays, We Are Hipsters (2014) & Straight A's (2016), published by On Stage Press, a division of Samuel French, Inc.
Matt loves listening to Panic at the Disco & The 1975, reading plays, Keith Haring, and watching football. Go Panthers!
